Hi everyone,

I have a white ZS SE EV on order through Vanarama.
I've been told to expect delivery late November. Hopefully that'll be the case as my present car goes back on the 11th November!

I don't want to rain on your parade but I was told September, then Oct, then Nov and now Dec.

Did any of the deals actually have the stock?

Did check on Carwow. Got three offers of LR Trophy with a sunroof. Delivery times were not quoted. All offers were brand new unregistered. Cheapest was £500 off list price.

I would call a couple of the dealers and make an enquiry. No need to even mention Carwow, just make out like a new customer and check the spec as well as delivery times...it's the only way to find out exactly what's what.

Anyone received their car from Vanarama, ordered ZS EV LR monument silver on 18th Nov, initial delivery pushed back from mid Apr to Sep but no further updates at all

I was quoted 5- 6 months delivery at time of order.
To be fair my lead time on my present lease car for Nationwide moved around all over the place prior to delivery so I'll just keep everything crossed

I feel everyone's pain as I have been on this shipping post journey since Nov 21. But with all the bad news three missed delivery dates we have finally got to the light at the end of the very long tunnel (I hope) We have our new reg, insurance sorted paperwork done and we collect on Wed morning. Silver LR Trophy. Burnley MG

May I ask what company you used for insurance and how much? I need fully comprehensive with max NCB same car as u just waiting for it to arrive

I don't think anyone that ordered from them at that time has had there car,Me included, Think I ordered mine on the same day.
Was also told 15th April and then the good old trusty 1st September.
If it wasn't for the fact that it was a stonking deal I probably would have given up by now,and there is nothing they would like more than for me to cancel, So I'll just wait as we have two cars.

I am on the same boat. They called me back in April few times and tried to pursuade me to cancel it. I am no deposit 3 years 10K for £308. Cant find that deal anywhere now. From 16 - 20 weeks, 1st of Sep was a big jump but even that looks like a pie in the sky atm

Hi. Ordered pretty much same time. Still no car. It would be nice to hear from anybody who has received a ZS from Vanarama!

That is a decent deal. Just a waiting game now. Might give them a call to see whats going on again

Nov orders seem to be getting fulfilled now by dealers so you’d expect leases to do the same. Perhaps a little extra lag as the dealer needs to confirm receipt and then release to lease company but you’d expect to see the orders coming through. Mine was a Jan order, so Sep might still be achieved

Yeah it makes no sense really - this is the model I’ve ordered too, March… was chatting to a guy on Facebook with exactly the same car and he picked his up last week - ordered in January…

Right, I have an idea..can you smell burning?..anyway, I’m going to go to the dealership and stand outside in the car park, wave my hands around a bit and shout..abracadabra and see if my car appears..

Now as shouting “abracadabra“ didn’t work, I popped up to the dealership, stood in the car park and pulled out my wand and waved it about, to see if that worked, no car appeared but a woman did let out a scream, so I put it back in my pocket and went home…stop making up your own jokes..

My car is still awaiting assembly too, so I understand your frustration! I was also considering the Niro EV, but I've decided to wait for now because I actually do like the car I've ordered. If mine actually turns up and I'm still fed up with MG after that, I can always put down a deposit on the Kia then sell the ZS with no loss.

The lack of information is deeply annoying, but it seems as if a few more of the early LR orders are coming through now, which is encouraging. I'm also interested see how many cars MG drop in September, because we know some customers have been told their vehicles are being held back until then.
