Given these cars have over the air software updates than there would have to be some connectivity . Could be just wifi which would be fine by me as that would also make the app work where we would want it the most...assuming the is an app of course.

There are a number of providers who give coverage everywhere in the word for these small data bundles. They use their own and other networks, and the worldwide solutions certainly cover NZ and Australia. tesla almost certainly does this and if will work in a country for a Tesla it can work in...

We bought one of the wireless airplay dongles and that solved the ‘plugging in’ dilemma. Well worth it. And you can also buy a wireless charger too…which is what we did. So if wireless is the only thing you want it is fixable for less than $150.

I’d have thought the LR would be perfect for Australia. We don’t need it in Auckland so not such an issue.

Do we know if the other specs are the same as the Uk as it was for the previous model? eg app, ota updates and v2l. does this version have front parking sensors?

I applied the graphene from ethos 6 months ago and am amazed at how good it is. https://ethoscarcare.com/ It takes care to apply as you want the paint really clean…foam, wash, clay bar, their detox product then apply. I did 2 coats and the graphene can do windows etc so it is much easier...

ABRP uses % of available battery (42.5kw) and should tie in with what a charger shows when you plug in. CarScanner et al use total battery (44.5kw). Difference is about 4%.

I use car scanner on my phone and it reads the data via dongle. But battery % is of the 44.5kw total, not the 42.5% usable. So you need to be careful.
