MG X Power

Agreed. Im always scouring YouTube for anyone who has improved the handling/cornering i:e better tyres, offset adjustments, suspension ect or put drilled & grooved discs on one but currently there is nothing. Its quick enough in a straight line but I want it to corner & attack B roads better. Maybe Im deluded however I want to tweak mine for fun driving (where safe to do so) the obvious lack of gears may mean im being unrealistic though.
I saw on a FB group that a guy in Australia had a few smaller front sway bars made for his XP and is testing them, but I haven't seen any updates in a bit. His initial feeling was while it increased body roll, the car actually cornered and drove better.

Went from a 32 mm front bar to 24 (same size as the Trophy).

Thankyou 👍

Biggest upgrade for me 6 months in would be a better seat.

Comfortable enough but lacking the ability to hold you properly when pushing on.
The “refresh” model later this year apparently is the same except an updated interior. Great that means it will have better seats including rear armrest, rear lighting, better screens & software, wireless carplay, multiple rear sockets & a boot cig lighter socket. Basically everything that makes mine crap 🤣😂

That's alright m8, just take the massive depreciation kick in the Nads and buy a fresh one!!🤣

I've been quoted an offer on a new Xpower for €36k (£31k) or a Trophy LR for €30k (£26k), no prices yet for the facelift coming out in a few months.

Something that was staring me in the face with your post but only just stood out is that you don't need to buy an aftermarket front sway bar if you wanna soften the front, just buy and fit the smaller trophy one you mentioned

Good thinking, but I think I read that the Trophy one isn't compatible with the Xpower unfortunately.
