Yes very true, from my experience the two MG dealers I've had dealings with have both been pretty disappointing. I'd be interested to hear of anyone with good examples of dealers, perhaps I can try them in the future. Thanks.

Interesting thanks for your comments. Yes MG seem to have a major lack of software customer support availability, it’s almost impossible to get in touch with anyone. The dealers seem pretty clueless, if I was to buy another MG I’d think twice before having to go through a dealership again...

Different problems with my MG5 trophy, but I’ve found the whole process with MG dealership, MG garages/servicing and anything to do with trying to get things sorted with my MG5 absolutely impossible, pretty much like there is no customer service… Very, very disappointing to say the least...

I’ve just had a similar situation, my key suddenly didn’t work and I couldn’t get the car started for nearly 3 hours. Then suddenly decided to start working again. Not great with the wife and kids and dog in the car stuck in a car park with nothing to do on a sunny day…! (MG5 Trophy)
