So, the front ones look pretty low, though still legal apparently. All this snow this week makes me want to change the front ones now.
Anyone any experience of which type, brand might suit the 2020 EV best. I think grippy in the wet, more important than speed performance,
Any suggestions...
Going back to our previous conversations, I have just discovered what the smelly socks stink is all about...
It starts at start up and goes away within a few minutes.
It's the Screen Washer liquid - cheap B&Q. Simple as that!
So now that the temperatures are rising again, I can begin to use...
2021, Gen 1. 20,00 miles.
It is recent, so with the HVAC on, and comes after we have been driving for a few moments, it stays there for a few minutes then seems to dissipate - I don't think it goes away because we are getting used to it, it's too strong too for that.
My wife says it's a...
I was wondering if anyone else had seen this, after washing, hosing the rear screen?
Took me a bit by surprise.
If there is an opening around the screen (maybe bottom) then it also means noise and damp can enter surely?
Anyone else heard these? I would hear this once in a while, noticeable at slower speeds with less road noise. I took a trip down A and B roads to Bristol yesterday and heard it every 2 or 3 minutes - which is disconcerting. No apparent reason for it, as it's not dependent on anything I am...
How to stop the rear wiper going as soon as I select reverse to move out of my drive? No water - so I guess it will eventually just scratch the rear screen badly?
Stoopid idea.
This was last nights charge now that we are finally on the Go tariff, with the Ohme charger.
89p overnight charge +41 miles, @ 1.64p per mile.
Am I reading that right?
If so that seems pretty good value doesn't it. That's a lot less than last month while we were still on their Flexible Tariff.
What happens when our MG EVs run out of juice whilst driving?
Anyone any practical experience - do they stop dead, or allow this "emergency maneuver mode," to move to the left for safety...
We had a problem today - had to try to restart three times before the car was Ready. Handbrake needed manual release.
The screen showed this almost blank screen, as attached, Does anyone recognise it?
PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS
With this arrow pointing to the offside of the car...
I have just realised why my dipped, but especially me main beam is so naff. The nearside light is pointing into the left kerb, and up into the trees and hedges. Absolutely not point at the road ahead - where all I have is essentially a black triangle in the road 10m+ ahead. I understand the...
I wondered if anyone had experienced this? My wife was quite flustered when she got back the other evening, saying the lights just quit completely when she was waiting to emerge at a junction.
What could she have done for the to happen unexpectedly soon after she had started and driven off in...
Anyone had their ZS refuse to move.
My wife reversed out into the road this morning but the car wouldn't move forwards. She switched off a couple of times and tried again.
I got in and selected D and it was fine, went off quite happily - the car I mean, not the wife.
It happened to me a couple...
Regarding changing the headlight bulbs, the change to PIAA was a bit trickier than I expected, due mainly to the cable being about an inch too short for comfort. And forget the plastic bulb retaining clips, they will just break off anyway, whatever you try to do.
I see internal humidity, glass...
I bought the Hyper Arros PIAA 3900 HB3, and I managed to get one housing opened easily, twist anti-clockwise. The other side seems to be stuck. Now I am inside one though I cannot for the life of me see how to get the original bulbs out - can't see or feel any clips.
Anyone else had the...
My ZS is a month old, about 1700 miles. It's always had an irritating rattle coming from inside the dash in front of driver. Or so I thought until now...
It's actually coming from the rear view mirror. I was on a rough surface and touched the rear of the mirror and the rattle stopped...
Utterly confused now looking at the tariff options today, Sept 1st. I don't see that I have the option to move across to Go, is it the 24 month fixed tariff? See the screenshot. Any and all suggestions appreciated. Thank you
I thought this was miraculous - after a night on the normal domestic socket, our new ZS showed a capability on Eco mode of 219 miles. As attached image. After 1200 miles I have begun to set in on E mode all of the time. Yes, it was too good to be true, within 10 miles it had dropped to 165...
