Ours busted, not Velcro, just crappy car carpet on the parcel shelf and rubbish glue on the plastic hinge bit. Dealer is meant to have one on order but not heard, might resort to superglue
If you’re saving a bundle compared to dino juice and you can afford to have fun with those savings, why not? Especially if you’re generating your own juice from solar 🤣
Came back to my car tonight to this little treat. Didn’t notice at first as approached the drivers side. Popped Dudley in reverse and thought, phwar that’s a nice looking car in the next space. 🤣 had to get out and take the shot.
If you’re iPhone… Click here and you can save it to files or email to yourself as a pdf. Both the car and nav manuals in the app have the option. Manuals are in My Profile.
There are literally hundreds of videos of ICE car drivers hitting the accelerator instead of the break, usually going through shop windows in the process. car driver wrong pedal - Google Search
Having driven some of Australia, I can see why they’d skip straight to extended range. If I remember right we thought we’d take the scenic road, after the first day we realised it was going to take 7 days to drive from Sydney to Canberra so we decided to take the highway instead and did it in 3.
Two today. Grey/black on the Broadfield Tesco roundabout in Aylesbury. You probably wondered why a Nissan Leaf was waving at you like a nutter. Blue SE seen from office windows near Sainsbury’s Aylesbury… work colleagues probably wondering why I started waving in the middle of a (rare) in person...
This is how it shows on our trophy. Photos taken earlier today. Now back home after another 22mi trip with aircon on the whole way back as was warm, down to 58% battery and finally showing 1kw of power on non-driving stuff. This has been quite a bit of hilly driving.
Hard to tell from that image what is happening previous trips but it is only showing 1kwh of driving power, and it only shows full kWh or only shows after the first kWh of data… so until you have 1kwh of regen it wouldn’t show here. It’s not as good for data as the Leaf app etc. I like data.
I think Vitron home battery solutions can have a set up where you essentially disconnect from the grid, plug your car v2l into the battery inverter and then run your house from your car via that.
1. Overtaking slow ICE cars uphill because it still comes out at less than 5p per mile 😂
2. System resetting the drive mode so other half doesn’t realise I’ve been ragging it in sport mode 🤣
Over to you…
True of Scotland, but if you’re having a good length stop because you’re having a bite and stretching your legs then you’re not going to mind getting 70kw ish versus 90+ with the battery heating.
Agree, save the preheat for if you’re doing a long trip in temps below around 20c and are not intending to spend too long at the charge point so want to maximise the speed of a DC charger. I’m not sure if it makes a difference to charging loses for DC also? Perhaps someone who knows better can...
When you change/set it to the %age (in the apple app anyway) you need to pull down the screen to refresh and then it will come up with “success” to show it has saved the change.
