I'm for the flat floor with storage underneath. Worried about losing the suitcases, shopping when opening the boot lid then use a net or straps. Things sliding around in the boot when driving drives me mad.
5SR and HS PHEV have both been on multicar policy alongside my wife's ICE with Admiral. OK but nothing special. I move insurer each year going back to direct line in between as they are never competitive for renewal I find, but good when you are a "new customer" after a year away. NFU get good...
We have heard tales on here of transporters turning up to unload and that is the first the dealer hears. But you would think its a bit cleverer than that. I would say the systems may take minimum of 24hr from unload to reflect the new arrivals. The unload may also take more than a day to...
Range is between 12 and 14m depending on moon phase etc. Its also entirely predicable so most ships would reduce speed by a knot or two to get there at the optimal time and save a few tons of fuel.
Went to sign finance at dealer today and yes its true. My dealer is gutted and will compensate me from their own pocket. That wont be available everywhere for sure.
Not sure if its been reported elsewhere. Santander have upped the Affinity finance from 4.9 to 5.9 and as the finance is not drawn down until just before delivery. You need to check as the deal (4.9 Apr) you thought you had may not be available when you come to sign the finance. My dealer spent...
Its not just EV parking, disabled, with children parking, crossing zig zags parking on pavement etc...etc totally ignored by those who just couldn't give a &uck about anything except themselves.
Agreed and if all charge points were working we would have more capacity. There is no reason why these stations should remain out of use for days. They are connected to the owning group and if connection drops out, that should raise an alarm. They are just lazy, want to maximise profit and do...
Understand the frustration especially if some of these stock cars arriving for dealers match what you have been waiting for. The weather will be getting better so perhaps an electric bicycle (no chips) as there wont be anything that you can order new that you would get before Christmas.
Why can't they become customer orders where they meet the spec ordered by real customer. The thought of a walk-in getting a car ahead of a customer who has waited months is unthinkable. Is an order for a fixed VIN? If so they would have been able to provide better supply chain info?
Beware changing car may change the deal such as Affinity and Gov Grant applied. Check with dealer as its probably a bit more complicated than just swapping to the one with greater availability? They may choose to keep your order on the books as they will sell the car easily when it arrives. But...
Go to or threaten to go to the trade body and perhaps the finance ombudsman. You need to be serious about that and prepared (selling regulations and conditions set by any trade body they are with) before talking to the dealer, explaining how they have let you down by poor process. I did the same...
I see it sometimes when I'm too quick for the system when starting and selecting D or R before READY is fully displayed. Slowing down and starting again always works. This seems like a new development so you were moving when it happened? I have had it once where I had to put in N and push car...
losing patience now, so good luck hope you are right and I'm wrong despite it happening to me. When you sell it will make a difference even if its only one day Its a perception thing for most buyers same plate but different year of registration.
Not my experience I bought a BMW X1 for deliver Jan so they said it would be delivered Jan 5th 2021, when I picked it up it had been registered 30th Dec 2020. Look if you're happy it won't happen good luck, not bothered if you agree just letting you know what happened to me.
