No, Done by the dealer in about 2 hours. Radio is a little more reliable but still occasionally have the press + or - after start up for the radio to come on.
Looks like it has improved Radio reliability. Before update to R25 had to press + or - on steering wheel to get the radio to come on after start up. Now it comes on automatically at Start Up as it should do and has done on every other vehicle that i have owned.
September 2022 LRTC finally had software update to cure "arrange service soon" message every 600 miles or so. Updated to R22 but went further and installed R23 and R25 as per image. Not sure if that improves anything else but hopefully cured the original problem.
Thank you for the Image. My September 2022 LRTC is due to go in to dealer for a third time end of this month to cure this fault Hopefully showing them a picture and number of the correct update will finally get them to resolve this annoying problem. Thank you again...
The word soon on the display may give the answer. I have had the same symbol on my display every 600 hundred miles or so and it comes up with the message, 'arrange service soon' Is easy to reset but should only appear when service is due. My car is booked in the middle of this month for...
Have contacted MG customers Services regarding the above, They advise requesting the service department at Richmond to open a "Technical Case" via the dealer portal so that MG technicians can assist to resolve the problem.
Have passed this information on to Richmond who have replied...
Had my 2022 ZS EV long Range Trophy Connect in for its first year service on Tuesday 26th at Richmond Portsmouth. I requested to update software to clear problem of the "Arrange Service Soon" message coming up every 600-700 miles. Low and behold 2 days later that message has come up again...
Mk2 LRTC 8 months in, no major problems. Very happy with quality and drive. Any glitch's usually turn out to be operator error...
It pays to download and read the online owners manual..
Going back to the OPs original comments, is there some confusion on the battery capacities. My understanding is that the MG4 EV long range has a 64 kwh battery giving a combined stated range of 281 miles whereas the MG ZS EV long range has a 71 kwh battery with a stated range of 273 miles...
Slightly confusing as my product manual purchased with the charger in January this year states type B. Nonetheless our thanks to Bluesparky and Nicko for explaining the difference
Works fine on my Nexbase 522. As to what camera, go for one that has internal battery backup. Any movement of the car will switch it on. When i removed the dash cam equipment from my previous Mk7 Golf and fitted to the ZS EV the USB socket was so much easier than connecting to Fuse box... On...
Like many others, i have been caught out with that one. Another one to beware of happened to me about 3 weeks ago. Pulled into Sainsburys to do some shopping, retrieved lead from boot and tried to connect up charge lead for some free juice but could not open charge flap. Gave up after...
Many thanks for all your comments. I remember the earlier post about the straps around the motor. I think you are correct in that they are transportation straps. Mine appears to be a single strap. that would fit onto the negative terminal as presumably the cars negative terminal battery...
Opened the bonnet on my facelift September delivery LRTC over the weekend while cleaning the car. Noticed a spare strap lying across the battery base. The hole on the end looks about the same size as the battery negative post. the other end appears to be fixed under the battery base. Should...
See comments on Aftermarket thread quoted above... Appears to me that MG have quoted the same part number 10160895 for different revisions of ZS mud flaps... That seems to be why some fit and some don't. Delboys photos give the clue as his rear flaps fit. Leaflet says REV 4. Mine do not...
Advised by MG Customer services that they no longer supply OEM Mudflaps for their new models including the 2022 MK2 ZS EV ...
Has anyone found a decent after market that will fit the MK2 without too much alteration? Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
Have you fitted the mudguards? Picked up my LRTC MK2 earlier this week, told my my dealer no Mudflaps for MK2 available yet. Will Email me when MG have them available. If they fit could you quote part number...Many thanks.
