Hi, I have a ZS EV 72reg , thinking about fitting spacers on the wheels . Think it might look better, is it advisable?

Have had 15mm spacers all round for almost 3years now. The wheels do look better, just need to make sure they are the correct type, hubcentric. There is a big industry producing them, they would not be if they were unsafe. It is no different than changing the wheel to one with a more negative...

    One or two foot driving!

In your opinion. In my 50+ years of driving, in my opinion it is not. I am not very articulate but here is an article that maybe of interest to those who are not dogmatic and think their opinion is the only one that could possibly be correct.

    One or two foot driving!

Been driving over 50 years, always left foot for braking, right for throttle. Quicker for the traffic light sprint, and more importantly emergency stops, hill starts are simple, no need for hand brake, and if you are in a hurry much faster. Though the missus can't/ won't do it.

Currently have an MG5 LR Exclusive coming in January but the new ZS has just put a spanner in the works

Also, in your position, I would wait and get the new ZS

I don't know where you get that idea from. We have them both and there is nothing between them as far as build quality goes. As for better, in what way? In range yes obviously, In comfort that would be down to the individual. My wife and I both rate the comfort of the ZS better, more comfy seats...

    So good bought another one

No we wouldn't. With the amount of normal weekly milage we do, just wouldn't be worth it.

    So good bought another one

Well went for a test drive in the MG5 LR just for the extra range, as my wife does a few of round trips of 160 miles a year, and although the ZS is fine in summer she has been sweating in the winter, although she has always had plenty miles left. Main concern with the MG5 was comfort and getting...

    Rejected my ZS

Actually they haven't recalled them even though they said they would. In the last week another couple have burst into flames. Utube channel "transport evolved" latest video goes into detail.

    MG ZS EV windscreen replacement

Yes I had mine done. Autoglass did mine but couldn't do the ADAS calibration. Had to book it in at Toomey's Basildon ☹️. They hadn't done one before and said there is only one piece of equipment capable of doing it in the whole country, and they would ring me when they got it. Rang them back...

Everything you need to know about BMS & voltage balancing

Just for info, the obdll connector I have had 4 or 5 years so don't know what chip it has. It also looks like I'm the only one that doesn't have 100% SoH. Not had the dodgy BMS.

ZS EV on the German Autobahn - top speed!

I have driven/been in 3, all limited to 96mph. Which is very handy as 97mph is a court appearance.

    Rapid charger fail to work

Try another dealer. Toomey are just awful in my experience. They promise a courtesy car yet when you arrive they have none available, so you hang around for 3 hours while they do a simple service, then ask if you want to wait a while longer while they wash the car, and of course you don't. When...
