    Charging query

Although perhaps tedious, it's well worth going through the car specs and manual (which is searchable if you've got it saved as a PDF). It'll probably clear up a lot of confusion, & although the translation is not the best it's still handy to have. Can be downloaded direct from MG: My MG | MG...

    Real world motorway range

For reference I've done this exact run in sunny May and only used 48%. Honestly for the sake of ease for my brain I'm just working on the basis I'll get 2 miles per % at this time of year for a journey like this, so personally I wouldn't have any anxiety about attempting the 165 miles based on...

    Real world motorway range

My most recent return journey stats up the M1 in a long range: -222.2 miles of this was pure motorway driven at 70 mph where allowed. -External temp was 6 degrees (a bit windy and some light rain, but otherwise no rough weather) -Normal drive mode -Heating kept on at 23 temp with a fan speed...

So do you like your MG ZS EV?

Yes, I like my ZS EV. There are a few things I would love to see improved or at least offered as an option in future such as: Driver's memory seat. It's a 🏐 ache to readjust seat/mirrors when the vehicle is shared. Infotainment screen position switched with vents so it sits higher up and is...

    MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

Just keep in mind that for customers like me, my car went straight from not built/on shortage, to having an arrival date. There was never an in-between status, so it could be similar for you. I'd still ask for further confirmation from the dealer if possible.

You'll be so happy when it does! Hopefully you get an update soon🤞, and it looks like they're shipping out the older LRTC orders.

    MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

It really isn't strong enough. I was being slowly roasted through the drivers side glass - no way can I cope with that in summer, so I'll have to get that sorted before then. And as you said, it'll then have a nice graduation through to the rear :) . I'm glad it came with the rears at...

    MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

Congrats!!! Agree, the rear privacy glass should've been standard from the outset. I did find it too hot throughout the glass when driving the other day though, so will add legal tint to the fronts. You must be pleased it's finally arrived.

13 miles driven and I’m wondering how I’m going to love it….

A few of the things people raise aren't so much problems as lack of research. The car isn't perfect - some have had a nightmare with it - but overall it's good bang for price at the time. I do like that it's quite compact and easy to chuck about in the city...been driving mine like I stole it...

    anti collision emergency braking

I've found it overly sensitive, period. Doing just over 25 on a relatively wide road, car in the oncoming lane waiting to turn...presumably it perceived that as the hazard and slammed the brakes on so hard, I nearly had heart failure. It was completely clear ahead, not even any parked cars...no...

13 miles driven and I’m wondering how I’m going to love it….

Confused by the parking thing, or was that tongue-in-cheek? I had to squeeze into a spot below a tree that leans well into the road when it was bucketing down the other night - can't say the visibility was worse than my prior car. I didn't/don't find the reversing camera useful though...gives a...

    Cruise control and regenerative braking

No regen on ACC. Or when the battery is too full...I don't feel it kick back in until the charge level drops to somewhere around 97%: https://www.mgevs.com/threads/regen-on-acc.9110/ https://www.mgevs.com/threads/regeneration-with-acc-mg5-mg-zs-difference.7483/

MG ZS EV Trophy Connect 2023 Maxxis Bravo M3

Congrats on it finally arriving!! I too have Maxxis Bravo HP-M3 on my TCLR which arrived here in Feb, manufacturing date of 31/10/2022 if that means anything. I was planning to change the tyres had they been Michelin anyway, but these will stay for the time being.

    MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

Hi there If you look on the last couple of pages, at least a few of the cars delivered have been LRTC ordered late 2021/early 2022. They have had the connect features as expected - mine included. They changed the spec so that new Trophy orders AFTER 1st July 2022 included the connect features...

    MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

Thanks for the tip! I did dead reckoning, but not that setting where it hollers at you every darn time you drive close to lane markings. It was driving me nuts in town where you frequently have to be near the centre of the road. Near two hours of vibrating steering wheel and beeping!!

    MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

It definitely makes a difference to the look! I will have the two fronts done though. Can't tell you what a relief it is to take delivery...was really starting to wind me up still having to throw money at my old car.
