I have no ship names, I have no port information. All I know is the cars I have arriving and on what dates. And I’ll be communicating to the people who’s cars are (and aren’t) on those ships over the course of the next week or so
I guess the point to note is that the vast majority of people on this forum are awaiting ZS EV LR. There are many many cars coming and I expect September will see MG dethrone plenty of 'big players' in the SMMT figures. But they also have 5 other cars in the range and ultimately have 50,000+...
I have just been given the information on what ships are arriving in September and what's on them. Ship trackers are great for speculating. The good news is that there's a LOT of cars coming. I cant guaratee yours will be on it, and I cant tell you there's going to be the exact model/spec/colour...
It’s far simpler than that. MG want to sell as many cars as they physically can. Within reason, they care about volume whilst ensuring an EV mix means they avoid CAFE regulation fines. I would argue MG would rather fulfill every order for ZS EVs to free up their customer services team from...
They could just launch it and say delivery in 12-18 months like other manufacturers?
The fact they’ve got some cars is surely a bonus?
Trust me, it’s frustrating as a dealer to have sporadic stock, nothing for ages and then waves, but it’s better than the alternative of nothing for ages… and...
As Miles pointed out, different production lines, different components.
This is the launch stock which I imagine will come through early and then there will be a sizeable wait for the next batch.
The ZS EVs will be coming through in more consistent numbers now, albeit clearly not as fast as...
The ‘BRAND NEW - IN STOCK’ is Auto Trader’s wording not ours. We have no control over it and can’t remove it.
For context, Auto Trader’s new car listing started life as a physical stock locator, designed to show what physical stock is on the ground and available to drive away today.
Clearly...
An order placed in 2021 makes dealers not a penny more or not a penny less than one placed today. The £2500 government grant isn’t profit, the increase in OTR price isn’t our profit. I’d much rather supply my oldest orders first… why would it make sense not to?
The video was produced by MG some time ago and the iSmart app was at a late stage of development. The heated seat function was removed as part of a software update that MG were unaware of when the videos were produced. Not entirely sure of the technical reason for its removal, but at this stage...
The Summit video is one MG produced to show us Dealers how it works. I cant for the life of me find where to operate the heated seats.
Its not beyond the realms of possibility MG had this film shot on a non-UK production-spec car?
I'll ask the Q and come back
Yes, I had the keys up in my sleeping baby's bedroom and had an urge for some chocolate. Fear not, took the car to the shops and back with nothing but my phone. Will run a test and make sure the same applies to Trophy as this was on our Connect demo
it would dependent on the dealer’s risk appetite. Depending on what the records were and in what form, I’d be willing to help if you want to message me the documentation/records.
