Probably different ways that the range is predicted. In the end, while seeing the range drop when you need it could be alarming, it won't take long before you get used to seeing how your car predicts the range and you have a better idea of what the real world range is.

Agree with this. It's pretty quiet. My Model S 75D is actually louder than my Ioniq that it replaced. But then it does have twice as many motors.
