I have just changed from Admiral to One Call via the Meerkats site and saved £200 by buying it the same day. I did it the same day I had my renewal, (20 days in advance), which is the Goldilocks time & when I went direct it was a lot higher. Do your research in advance and then check again and...
I've ordered a long range to avoid having to charge frequently and yet have the benefit of longer range when I need it to visit family. 'Grazing' is a good way to keep topped up too.
I sometimes get zapped when I get out of my cars (as in the ones I've had over time). I can't be sure, but I think it may be when I'm wearing polyester or perhaps something nylon.
I'd wait for the new reg if you can, unless it's already been done. It helps with model recognition when you come to sell. I had a December 2017 plate on a 2018 facelift Suzuki and they priced it wrong at trade in.
My 2016 Soul EV (27kWh battery, so short range) shows 94.2% state of health. We've been charging it on the granny cable since we got it 2 years ago and last 6 months up to 100% overnight. (Can't wait to get my ZS LR!)
I've heard that joke before, but taking it seriously, the speed limit is the speed limit for whatever vehicle or reason. 😁 In a sense you'll be helping cut pollution by using less juice, depending how it's generated before it goes into your EV.
Not Glos related but I buy my tyres from Camskill and have them delivered to me. Lots of tyre places will fit them for a per tyre charge of course. Putting new tyres on the rear axle is now recommended whether front or rear wheel drive. Shop around as places like Black circles often have good...
A better route planner and even Google maps (not sure if it does that yet). Lots of charging stations have their own apps too. Have fun trying them out. Of course, the car's sat nav will be useful (once you get it - I'm waiting too) if it's anything like my Smurf's.
Those will probably be my choice, but do check the reviews as things change. Goodyear Vectors, Vredestein, and other brand names are all good. I'm running Apollo Alnacs at the moment. Would always have all-seasons. This chap seems to talk good sense
Rotating tyres? I disagree. Best tyres...
