Ah, well I'd rather have a more accurate guess than WLTP lies, but I'd like to understand the arithmetic it uses. 188/61 is well below the accumulated miles/kWh figure it shows.

There's lots of things that revert to 'default' every time the car is started (or most times, at least, sometimes it seems random) but there's no way to change the 'default'. It would be so simple to provide a setting somewhere in the menus. Vary annoying! Poor design, IMHO.

That turns off the lane keeping, not the speed limit display?

From what little I know, I think that rapid DC chargers do have a different communications stream with the car, but that doesn't help communication with an AC home charger

I don't even know of a way to turn off the speed limit display. Are we talking about the same thing? It's a white circle just above and to the left of the digital speed display that contains the supposed current speed limit and flashes annoyingly if you're going above that limit.

I've been told (by Ohme) and read on here that other charger manufacturers say the same that MG doesn't provide an API by which the charger can observe the state of charge of the battery. Is anybody aware of whether MG have any plans to provide such an API? And any knowledge of timescale or...

Is there any way to remove the speed limit display? It doesn't tell me anything I don't already know and it's often flashing, which is annoying - detracting from safety rather than adding to it. Also, is there any way to permanently turn off the lane-keeping warnings? I know how to do it every...

I recently got an MG5 and I too am struggling with resetting the trip counter (and many other 'soft' menu controls as well :( ) I have read pp18-19 of the manual but it doesn't make any sense to me. Can anybody tell me what I need to do to reset the trip counter? I gather it needs a long press...
