carplay

CarPlay is an Apple standard which enables a car radio or head unit to be a display and a controller for an iOS device. It is available on all iPhone models beginning with iPhone 5 running iOS 7.1 or later.
According to Apple's website, all major vehicle manufacturers are using CarPlay. Vehicles without CarPlay can have vehicle audio products from automotive aftermarket suppliers fitted.

    CarPlay screen goes black sometimes. If you touch the screen it recognises the presses so if you hit the right spot it skips track etc. Pressing home and then back into CarPlay sometimes fixes it other times it doesn’t.     How it should have been from factory.

    i couldnt take the constant fussing on the built in screen. Make use of a pretty useless charge mat. Wireless carplay, 60fps retina screen, very snappy, very quick. Boots up very quick, even with the annoying MG cut power completely when you go into drive mode.
