The MG ZS is a sports family car that was built by MG Rover from 2001 until 2005. The ZS is essentially a tuned version of the Rover 45 (which was launched in 1999). The 45 in turn is a facelifted version of the Rover 400 which was launched in hatchback form in 1995 and saloon form in 1996.

    Smart charger won't charge MG ZS EV

    Hi fellow owners ! Just got my MG ZS EV on Monday and had an OVO smart charger fitted on Thursday. Now I can charge the car (OVER A LONG PERIOD) from the 13amp charger but the new Smart Charger does nothing and I mean Nothing in BOOST or regular mode. Any Ideas ... Graham

    Happy days, just been called by my MG dealer tonight to be told my car has arrived. They will call me on Tuesday to confirm collection date of either Friday, Sat or Sunday...Really excited and can’t wait, but more importantly delivered before expected date...I’m so happy

    Gearbox not locked when MG ZS EV is in "park"

    Hi, I thought I'd pass on a couple of points that might be worth noting. Unlike a regular automatic, when you put the MG in "park" it does not lock the gearbox it is just another way of putting the handbrake on. If like me you park on a slope the handbrake is all that stops your car disappearing...

    MG ZS car aerial

    The MGZS EV aerial seems to be much longer than usually found on todays cars. Why is this neccessary? After backing into my garage I realised that there was less than an inch clearance between the top of the aerial and the underside of the garage roll up door!
