Rear Window is a 1954 American mystery thriller film directed by Alfred Hitchcock and written by John Michael Hayes based on Cornell Woolrich's 1942 short story "It Had to Be Murder." Originally released by Paramount Pictures, the film stars James Stewart, Grace Kelly, Wendell Corey, Thelma Ritter, and Raymond Burr. It was screened at the 1954 Venice Film Festival.
Rear Window is considered by many filmgoers, critics, and scholars to be one of Hitchcock's best and one of the greatest films ever made. It received four Academy Award nominations and was ranked number 42 on AFI's 100 Years...100 Movies list and number 48 on the 10th-anniversary edition, and in 1997 was added to the United States National Film Registry in the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

    Unblock rear window washer

    Anyone know how to check and unblock the rear window washer? I know it's in the bit that holds the blade but can't see an easy way to get at it. It's no longer squirting but the pump sounds like it's trying. It's above freezing now so I don't think it's just frozen any more.

    Now the weather has turned, I finally had a need to demist the rear window. Turned it on and found that the bottom three elements were not working. Called dealer and have been told the bottom three elements are not heating, but are, in fact, the aerial for the radio. Can anyone else verify this...

    Probably a daft question but with there being no rear window wiper is there anything that could be applied to the glass to help with visibility like a spray or wax? I always see on online ads you can get stickers for side mirrors that help, but not sure I want a sticker on the rear window...
