2023 Towbar Wiring Radar Failure Help AUS / NZ

HI.

Have a 2023 MG ZS EV with Towbar recently attached. Noticed that on reversing with trailer connected ( or just the flap lifted ) that i get a error on the screen showing Radar Failure. The trailer socket appears to be wired with a reed switch, so i assume this is "working". What is the expected behaviour. Should that error always be displayed when towing?

anyone else have this issue, or can you tell me how your car behaves when the flap has a trailer connected ( or the flap is open ).

There is a "towing mode" on vihecle settings for "rear driver assistance system" to disable reverse sensors

Yes, however the Reed Switch in the Trailer Connector is supposed to be used to set/disable that i believe.

Is the connector the original factory standard equipment?
