Firstly, unless I was blind yesterday when I asked about having a 2025 HS sub-section - we now have one, so thank you.

There is a thread still lurking as a 2024 HS PHEV towbar question but it might be handy to start a new one here.

This was the previous one:

I see that PCT now (?) say that the detachable towbar is not available for the 2025 HS PHEV.

There was talk of rear bumper clearance potential issues. I'll email PCT and ask.

The PHEV is quoted as being 15mm longer than the petrol version - perhaps it's in the design of the bumper, and there's a loss of 15mm clearance?

I copied that part of your post to the moderators' private forum, and Stuart acted right away. He's also added some text about the 2025 model to the earlier HS forum introductory sticky post.

I'm not sure that we can always expect such prompt action, but it's nice when it happens!

Many thanks, it's much appreciated!

I had a prompt response this morning from my query to PCT Automotive:

'Yes we are aware that the PHEV versions are closer to the bumper than would like, We have re designed the towbar to have 2 mounting positions, One for Petrol and one for PHEV. The towbar has passed test and is now into production for manufacture, We would estimate about 3 weeks away for stock to be available.'

So good news all round it seems to me.
