Aftermarket Wheels

Has anyone determined the offset range for 17-inch rims? Is it from 40 to 60? Has anyone installed ET36?
I am using 16" Audi wheels for winter, 7.5" wide with ET37. Works great

Today I was able to program NFC TPMS sensors with 11082920 oe number. Shall see tomorrow of it worked.
Doesn't work. Lets see if MG service does some magic as the sensors should be identical to OEM.

I am looking for aftermarket wheels for XPower but getting ET 51 may be challenge as websites do not seem to offer/specify this…

I can find 18” and 5x112…

You almost certainly won't get ET 51
But as I've said a lower ET will be perfectly fine. ET 45 are plentiful and would look Awesome. They would only stick out 6mm each side, so no problems.
Would give you a 12mm wider track. ??

VW golf and Skoda Octavias run a very similar ofset and same PCD..so look for maybe even OEM VAG wheels. (Just not the later Audi stuff as the centre bore is 66.5mm rather than 57.1mm)

Easily fixed with a bit of filing…

But that aside I said I thought they would look good, not that they would fit…

I've been a little busy with my '4' today.
I've been running without the aero covers for a couple of months to see what difference it makes to range and I'd say negligible so.....
After giving it a quick wash I set about painting the brake calipers and painting the stock wheels.

The bolt covers and centre caps I designed and printed myself in TPU. The carbon look is achieved with a carbon effects build plate so any filament picks up the pattern on the first layer.

The paint is E-Tech from Amazon, Sky blue brush on for the calipers and PRO Bavarian Dark Anthracite spray for the wheels.
