That might be why my car has been OK the last couple of times. Pre-heating.
Where is that setting? I couldn't find that option. If you go in the Android system you can enable auto brightness. My car doesnt have it in the normal settings so I had to adjust it by hand every time.
Neither could I ... not in Android Auto settings anyway. (Nor in AA Developer settings).Where is that setting? I couldn't find that option.
It's just that (see my thread in MG 5 forum regarding the same issue.) The quick fix is to flick the auto lights off and back on again. That's my experience. I think the car has already sent the Light Status signal before AA has properly started up.
Yes. That appears to be the only way. No combination of light or dark mode settings will get it to start in night mode. It's just that (see my thread in MG 5 forum regarding the same issue.) The quick fix is to flick the auto lights off and back on again.
This seems to have stopped working, is there any way to get it working again? The screen is distractingly bright at night.
Is there a way to manually dim the android auto screen if we cannot get this working, or switch the screen off?
It never did this in my LEAF, but my MG4 is the same as everyone describes. I just flick the light off and on. No botherI can't find the thread I started about this now, but others who replied said it's nothing to do with MG, that it's a bug in AA and that people with other makes of car also complain about it.
I have an SE and it's on R38, the latest version.
