Android google maps

I use GMaps all the time in my car .. in fact I've just returned from Alnmouth today (via a Tesla charge stop at Adderstone services) and GMaps redirected me off the A1 North for a few miles to skip around some huge congestion.

I am assuming GMaps is google maps? I would Argue waze is better as it updates faster based on users

I used Waze for a long time, but moved to Google maps a couple of years ago. I find it better overall, and it means one less app on my phone.

I have both (and others) but I'm more comfortable with Google Maps - habit I suppose. (It also now has a Report function, like Waze).
