Regarding the intermittent reversing problem I took my car to the dealers a couple of weeks back for the problem to be looked into. On this occasion they updated the software and it was basically a case of see how it goes. Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem. took it back this week and they have now ordered a new switch unit (P, R, N, D on the central console) as this is the diagnosed problem. Worry now is how long it will take to arrive as car central console totally striped out at the moment. How did you go on?Yep, Trophy from the first batch that arrived in Oct as had ordered it when it was first priced back in April.
Now I'm completely unable to select Reverse at all so it's stuck on my driveway! Think it's a dodgy switch rather than a software bug. Next step, call the garage on Monday.
Have driven it just over 1500 miles.
At least managed to enjoy it with the top down for the last week, and even saw it reach an average of 4.7 miles/kWh at one point. Also had another bizarre bug, on Friday morning, the car had switched itself to km. Had no idea until I was driving through town and it was telling me i was speeding when I was crawling along... It was saying that the speed limit was 20 km/h! Took me a while to find the right screen & menu to revert it back to Imperial units.
