Battery Cover is this correct?

Had car for 2 days now. Looked in more detail under the boot cover and noticed the battery terminal covers. One is present on the "+" but none "-"

Is this correct? The "-" one looks a bit exposed!

The car frame is normally connected to the negative terminal. So that should be okay

It has been made this way to its "impossible" to drop a tool on it and shorting the pins out. It's common in most cars that only the "+" is covered.
