Hello
I have a MG5, I am also looking to buy an accident damaged MG5 to use as donor parts to convert a classic car.
The question is I assume post accident some battery disconnect would have happened, where is this? I would like to check the accident damaged car before complete dismantelling for parts.

I think all the MG's come with a "what to do after an accident" sheet of instructions....

It's in the owner's manual:

Looks like it's just the big plug on the front of the Battery ?

It is. But expect the 12v leads to have been cut and the plug lost.

Out of interest, how do you intend to replace the SAIC controls?

Hello
I am still unsure. My initial plan is to install the motor and batteries. At this point I will just use all the siac bits, ecu, screens, etc then slowly bit by bit get instuments etc working. I will probably put the current centre screen in the glove box or similar. Possibly just dump all that and have a very basic setup.
