Car lights up when charging?

I hadn't noticed this before, it might have always done this - but now I've seen it - I see it all the time!

When I put the car on charge - I use an Ohme home pro charger, and it provides various slots for when it charges.

When one of those slots starts the headlights, brake lights and the internal lights turn on for a few seconds. It's ok for me - but the brake lights light up the house opposite - no complaints yet thankfully!

Is this normal? Has anyone else noticed this?
