CarPlay not working when connected before system boot

Hi,

When I connect my phone to the car before the system is completely booted, CarPlay won’t start. In that case I always have to reconnect the phone to get CarPlay working.

Does anyone else have this issue and is there anything that can be done to fix the issue?

Yes have the same on R46 - annoying but used to it now.

I have the same with Android Auto. I've found that If I reboot the infotainment system it'll work .

Same issue since my car has updated from R33 to R46.
Anyone have a fix or it's another bug?

Same issue on R46 here too. Android auto. Unplug, plug back in again.

Annoying as it used to get round android auto starting in day mode at night. Now have to flick autolights off then back to auto for the screen to kick into dark mode.
