It looks like they intend the network to close at the end of the year.. mostly.. The link below gives some detail and a faq but the faq is a bit confusing as it says chargers will be migrating away because the contract is ending but also some answers suggest it will continue. I think most CPS chargers will be gone and possibly just a few remain.
All the more reason to get that electroverse card.

No idea m8 but some of them would be I'm sure. From what I read there nobody knows anything about what the situation will be with each owner until they decide to move and who they move to.

From the website - "On the dedicated CPS transition webpage (HERE) there will be a table charting all charge point owner progress on migrating away from CPS, including estimated dates for migration."

Unfortunately, clicking on HERE leads to "Page Under Construction". Great.

Did you receive an email from them about this?

I've been with CPS for nearly 3 years (though only used them sporadically) but this is the first I've heard of this.

No, I originally heard it from a guy I know who owns a charger. CPS are contacting owners asking them to pick a new network and he said the plan was to have it all completed by the end of the year.

I went looking for info and found that link on the cps website.

Looks like the transition page (when it's working) will be the source of info for us. Chargeplace Scotland won't have any info on which network an owner goes to unless they tell them I suppose.

I can't see it being a major problem getting a charge since all the rapids will now have contactless. The slower 7kw chargers will still need an app or a card though.
