Charging issue

Help with charging a MG4 please. Car and app set to charge 00.30 to 04.30 in line with Octopus Go tariff. Dumb Charger.
The car charges successfully and switches off. Then a couple of hours later, it starts charging again.

Tried disabling the app for scheduled charge (pre "upgrade"). Same issue.

Anyone had this problem: any thoughts about how to resolve it ( apart from going outside and unplugging it)

Sorry don't understand the question. The charger is actually branded BP Pulse ?

EVSE = Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment ... otherwise known as a wall box (or a granny lead if you use the 3-pin one supplied with the car).

Ignore the car settings and configure the "charger" itself to only charge between certain times, most have a web interface you can connect on from your pc to directly configure them. Example http://ip-of-charger.

Err, that's a local IP address. It does nothing for me, for example. Did you mean a different URL?

Hi

You need to get the IP Address that has been assigned to the EV charger on your home network by the internet router.

To get his you need to connect to your router configuration page.

Google: "How do i get the ip address of my router and open the router configuration page"

Once on the router config you should find a DHCP section which will list all assigned IP addresses, one will be for your EV Charger.

The charger itself usually hosts a configuration site that you can connect to, for example if the ip was 192.168.0.10 you would try to connect to http://192.168.0.10 or https://192.168.0.10.

I have a Wallbox Pulsar Plus - this allows connection via app but doesn't have a local web server.

And the OP says he has a "dumb" charger from BP Pulse - does that allow local web access?
