Hi guys,
I recently had received an update to R59 on my car. Ever since, the car has failed to charge overnight at home. For context, we have Intelligent Octopus and an ohme charger. My partner has a hybrid car which uses the same app/charger and works fine so I know it's a car issue.
The car charges when I'm sat in it (so when it's "awake") but this is really no use to me. Can you suggest anything?

Have you confirmed that there is no charging schedule set, either in the car or in the iSmart app?
Thanks for the reply mate. Yeah no schedules set. Weirdly I've just plugged in now, have left the car unlocked, and it charges. As soon as I lock the car it stops and doesn't resume

I'm on R040 with an Indra Charger on Octopus Intelligent Go.
I find that when the charge period starts, the car reports it is charging but the rate is 0 KWh. After 10 minutes, the charge fails.

If I stop the charge and then manually start the charge, the car charges correctly.

My wife's Kia Soul works correctly, so it is definitely the MG4 at fault.

Annoying as I have to remember the start time and play with the ready time so I get a continuous block that starts while I'm still awake.

Did you check? Because when I had a software update a schedule was created by the update process somehow and though I was sure I hadn't created one when the garage asked, they were right that one was in there.
