Hi, I have had an MG4 for about 2 years and used to charge fine, but now either won’t charge at all or charges for a couple of hours and then packs in. Very occasionally it works fine. Tried all different ways, but none work. Tried overnight with timer, overnight without any timer, timer start with no finish time. Though the day. Nothing works. Had the home charge people out to see if it is the home charger, they say it is the car. Had car to MG garage, they say it’s the wall charger. Not sure what to do next.

Is it an SE or LR? If it's the LR have you inadvertently set the charging limit to a low percentage?

Have you got a friend or neighbour that will let you charge your MG4 on their charger just to discount that it is your charger?

Try a 3-pin plug in granny charger if you have one, it should tell you if the car charges up ok.

If it's a LR without a rear wiper it sounds like the CCU has failed - long thread about it on this site.

You may be able to rapid DC charge even if AC charging has failed. Did the dealer test using their own AC EVSE? If not, they need to or to use someone else's.
