Clink clank clunk noise

Ever since I bought my trophy, i hear this strange noise during the few seconds after locking or unlocking the car. I am not sure how to describe the noise but it gives the feeling of a very old rusty truck.
Anyone having this issue?

It's probably the motorized air intake flaps in the front bumper opening and closing.

I hear it on my SE without the auto flaps. Come from under the bonnet somewhere.

I have the same feeling. It couldn’t be the auto flaps in the bumper. Somewhere under the bonnet. Someone in Facebook replied to my post saying it’s the air con doing its thing.

Doesn’t seem so. Sound comes from under the bonnet

First car I had that did this was a 2008 Mk4 Mondeo.
