I recently posted a message on the forum about my MG ZS EV. It was 4 years old and before September had been a great car but after that it had spend 9 weeks at MG and 8 weeks on my drive. I kept having it back because MG couldn't find anything wrong with it and a week or 2 later it would break down again. Anyway, I lost confidence in the vehicle and asked MG to buy it back off me which they did with no argument. The experience hasn't put me off having an EV but I will wait a while as the price has gone up so much.

I am surprised they bought back a 4 year old car.
I remember the days when cars were nearly ready for the scrap heap when 4 years old.
 
Hi. I have a problem with who to complain to. Bought Cyberster in Feb. After a couple of months it broke down and AA returned it to Hendys in Exeter. It took 5 weeks to fix! Then broke down a week later with a different problem. Off the road for another week. Complained to Chris in the service department who I have to say was great. He said my complaint would go up through the chain and would someone would contact me with some sort of compensation. To date (after about 5 months) Nobody from Hendys Exeter have contacted me. Completed two online customer satisfaction surveys supplied by Hendys/MG each asked if I would like a call back. Contacted MG Customer Care UK. Who said it couldn’t help as it was a dealership problem but they forwarded my complaint to someone senior at Hendys Exeter nearly 4 weeks ago. Still no reply! Can anybody suggest who I could contact to look at my complaint seriously.
