Cyberster Software Versions

It looks like there are a number of cars being delivered over the next few weeks, so it will be interesting to see if they have updated the software since the initial launch.

This is what I have as of 14th March 2025

Same here.

Confirmed rear speakers are on but are very weak. Basically nothing from the sub....

The same thing happens in my car, I really thought the sound from the speakers was going to be much better. There's also no menu option to increase the volume of the rear speakers, so hopefully they'll release an update to fix this...

Thread 'Sub Woofer not working'

Sorry if it was mentioned somewhere already.
I just learnt today that my sub woofer is not working. Actually it was the first time I wanted to really listen to music and I was searching for fade and balance of the music because I did not hear anything from the rear speaker. Setting is on ALL. I could not find a setting for fade and balance but learnt that my rear speaker (sub woofer) is not doing anything.
Any ideas, or simply broken?

Plenty of manufacturers kept claiming their cars would get OTA updates, then never did them.

On this topic, a factory reset helped. Apparently some cars left in a dealer mode software version...

I think on the C screen at 'system' and then scroll down, there is 'restore to factory settings'

I have the same software and I'm from Spain, registered on February 6, 2025.
Yesterday I went to the MG garage because the trunk was making noise (they already fixed the rubber seals) and because the Bluetooth was failing a lot, and I couldn't connect to Apple CarPlay.
The mechanic told me there was a software update available, and they'll install it next week.
The problem is that he explained to me that it's the first one they'll do on this car and they don't know much about how to do it. He also explained that this car has two types of updates: internal ones (only available at the MG garage) and ones you can update via Wi-Fi. The garage staff don't really know much, but oh well. Next week I'll let you know what update they installed and if it's true they'll update it. Let's hope the Bluetooth works better because I work with my phone and it's terrible. Aside from the fact that the right screen is useless... why don't they show the car's statistics there? Isn't it a sports car? We have to improve this software no matter what.

Regarding those who were able to access the hidden menu, have you achieved any improvements in any way?

Hola Roberto and welcome to this forum. Congratulations with your new Cyberster. Here in the Netherlands it is no different, people have little knowledge about it but together we will figure it out. On May 20th my car will get the update that is needed. Later we will compare which number that is. I think the OTA update is not applied (it was the same in my Xpower). I would only use the hidden menu for inspection and not mess around with it myself, the dealer is not happy with that and you run the risk of losing your warranty. Let me know how you like your Cyberster and post a nice picture online.

The Cyberster is incredible, I love driving, but it's true that I would have liked the software to improve. We'll surely get there over time.

Today I took the Cyberster to the MG garage to get an update... and they were connecting a laptop to the car's ECU port, but I didn't see any update in my car when they finished... the Bluetooth keeps failing (it cuts out and comes back on every so often), Apple CarPlay doesn't work, neither with the original cable nor without it... and everything remains practically the same, the infotainment version hasn't changed either.

The entertainment software number should be at least SWI134-29176-1100R32, which is already released. If you still have the R31 version I would go back to the dealer. Good luck!!
