Cyberster Software Versions

I got my Cyberster Trophy two days ago. First (or maybe second) i Sweden! The system versions are exactly the same. Entertainment R31. CarPlay works ok with a cable, exept for a few dropouts. Unplugged and plugged my iPhone two times and then it was ok the whole ride. Noticed that Bluetooth only plays through the passenger speakers but have only tried with one iPhone for now. Very happy so far with my Cyberster!

My unit is a UK unit in Malaysia, no Nav for Malaysia, So the onboard navigation is very much useless. Couldnt update it.

Today my Cyberster is going back to the dealer for a number of warranty issues. Among other things, a protective layer for the paint (they forgot), a defective mounting for the floor mat, a good place for the emergency hammers, adjusting the Bose speaker system and then of course installing the newest software (now the R31 version), I am curious if this will all work and with which version they will come up. This is the treatment he gets, first the car is washed thoroughly, then completely polished and then the Master Care paint protection.
I will probably get the Cyberster back shining tomorrow.

Maybe the bright sun/heat is a cause of that. At least assume that it is sunnier where you are than here in Western Europe

As an aside, I got a brand new MG S5 ev as a loaner, drives pretty well too. Of course not comparable to my GT, but as a family car very nice.

The software could not be updated yet because the latest version was not yet available.
A new chance on June 6.
The attachment of the floor mat has not yet succeeded, new floor mats have been ordered.
I am also ordered two MG logos (front and back) made in black.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Let's wait until June 6th to check the software update. Regarding the black logos, is there a website where I can buy them? Or are they just ones that can be glued over the original?

My dealer orders these logos and a special painter makes them glossy black and stick them on the car.

I ordered 2 sets of MG4 logos from MGTitan, hoping to use the 2 small ones for front and back (to replace Cyberster logo in center).

After I received them, they had to change their description. It used to say:

"Can be applied to any clean flat surface -vehicles, car doors, car body, car side fender, car rear trunk, front engine cover, etc."

But no, it where just overlays for existing logos. And not the quality I was hoping for.

Many of us MG4 Owners like our black MG overlays.

I also ordered this from MG Titan, but this set does not fit the Cyberster, these are made for the MG4. I gave them to my dealer to make someone else happy with them.
This company also advertises the glass windshield, this also does not fit the current model of the Cyberster. With a lot of effort I got it to fit, but the supplied parts can be thrown away. Many (cheap Chinese) sites offer articles for the Cyberster, but unfortunately, most are not suitable for it. So be careful.

Yes you mentioned that before. And based on that I have been looking for info about changes in (headrest) design, but couldn't find anything.. what is the current model and what is the older model?
