Has anyone else had an issue with the signal being poor for DAB radio? It was working fine until i left it for 2 weeks in airport parking. The signal keeps dropping out
You can partially blame the operators, tha skimp on power and antenna density of the DAB. DAB generally runs on much lower power amplifiers and antennas, so the coverage isn't as good as FM. And if you have a poor tuner and antenna design (as many cars do) the end result is poor experience. Why is it even some modern cars struggle with DAB? My current '71 plate Niro loses signal at the drop of a hat. I can be sitting at a junction and the radio is perfectly fine, next minute no signal and I haven't even moved !

But the latter can be fixed with more and higher power antennas.
Antenna will need to be tuned to the receiver hardware inside the car. So unless you want to modify both, it's not worth it. Might as well stick to FM or stream your radio.Any recommendations to a better antenna?
We have a 2023 MG4 and a 2025 MG HS and both have very poor signal. Considering installing a roof mounted antenna to go alongside the existing one.
