You can also make a complaint through the financial ombudsman service,
Best start with the garage customer service team,
Then manufacturer customer services,then escalate it,
but I'm pretty sure it'll be sorted quickly.

Try matt dash wipes.
If all else fails and no joy with the dealers then I'd put a non-slip mat over it.

Very much so, particularly in the areas where banks/ airlines have been less than cooperative. I guess you'd have to be a member as I am, but anything us worth a punt. When folk are paying good money from their hard earned this sort of behaviour needs nipping in the bud. Naming and shaming if there's no result!

So MG have quoted £1600 for a new dash and said it’s probably not worth it as new dashes never fit perfectly and can squeak etc. so it’s either take it to someone who specialises in those sort of repairs and get some compensation or reject the car.
