Data traffic management

Under Infotainment settings, of a Trophy Is a heading 'Data Traffic management'. With a switch for 'online entertainment network switch'.
What does it do? Where is the data?
The Infotainment manual p26 is no help and a search on this forum reveals nothing.

The weather forecast app is an example of infotainment data use. I expect that and the online remote management app will stop working if you disable data traffic.

Maybe it's just to see the online network traffic usage of all the above suggestiions ? :-

"Traffic Management

In the settings interface, touch [Data traffic management]
to enter the traffic management interface, you can turn the
online network switch on or off and view the traffic usage."

Never looked myself though so can't comment ?‍

My Data Traffic option will not switch on. This means I get NO Vehicle Hotspot. This means 13 months loss of service was after the R59 update.The R65 update fixed it for some days then stopped again. In my opinion MG UK have not idea how to fix the problem.

I have issues with mine.

My weather app stopped showing the weather recently and noticed that data traffic was switched off which i hadn't done. I turned it back on and was all good. This past weekend I drove to Wales and back with the vehicle hotspot on for the kids to use on there tablets in the car and it worked fine.

This morning data traffic is off again and won't turn back on. If i go into the settings > data traffic management i can see that the On-line entertainment network switch is turned off. If I turn on, it goes back to the off setting after a few seconds. I've got full signal also when doing this so stumped on what is going on.

The online remote management app still works for me though even though data traffic is showing as off.

Anyone else found out how to fix?

You use all data for the month, need to wait first day of next month, so September 1st

As @Mouss said. You've used all the data for this month. The car only has an allowance of 1GB of data a month.
