We have the car back
The official version is "The [BMS] issue was causing many modules on the vehicle to stay awake rather than switching off. When these modules were staying awake it has caused a drain on the 12 V battery that has meant that the battery has lost charge very quickly." The fix was to install an early March BMS update.

A "March this year" BMS version or "March last year" version?
There was another new one that came out in Feb this year (after the Jan fix version).

Would be interesting to know the version number. If you have access to an obd2 dongle and the android app you can get it.
