Thought I could get out the driveway turning right despite a delivery van across the road. Turns out I was wrong. The positive side here is I know my gate is strong ??

I was in a car park once with stupid 18 inch wooden posts marking out the bays. I forgot they were there and pulled the front bumper off the car on one side. Fortunately it clipped back on and little damage was visible once put back.Did something similar in my previous car. I didn't realise the steel column I was reversing round had a wide low wall around its base and I caved in the front passenger door. Best part of £600 to fix it![]()
Lol, snap. I had a Honda Civic many years back and in a parking space with the same markers, caved in and creased the bottom of my passenger side door as I reversed out and turned, post too low to see. One new door later !. Made me wonder if the people marking out the parking spaces actually owned carsI was in a car park once with stupid 18 inch wooden posts marking out the bays. I’m not going through insurance and my wife just got a ZS last week or so and we haven’t got rid of the ICE car yet so still mobile. To be honest I'm suprised that the insurance company is going ahead with this, as it looks like a new door and rear quater will be needed, I assume that its still drivable until the parts arrive, as 6 weeks car hire isn't going the be cheap either.
