Does anyone know how to adjust windscreen washer jets?

Mine barely reach windows except a few stray drops, blocked by bonnet and the arm of the wipers.

It's a design fault, sorry, I meant a design feature.
I keep the wiper stalk pulled back until the wiper arm moves out of the way of the jet and that seems to put enough fluid onto the screen to clear it.

Are you sure about this being normal? Mine works fine. Quick flick of the stalk and there's enough water put on the screen to wipe off the grime. Never noticed the wiper arm getting in the way or the fluid being insufficient. It is a finer spray than I'm used to, so a particular combination of wind direction and speed may prevent it hitting the window, but I've not experienced that.

I got the dealer to adjust mine under warranty as they were hitting the underside of the bonnet, they are not great now but just about work
