Dumb question ( Climate control screen at start )

I've pressed a button....... Why does the climate control screen appear when I get in the car instead of the home screen? I appreciate it only takes a second to get rid of it but what have I pressed? I've been through every menu and sub menu and I can't change it. Please help.

Have you left it on the climate screen when you locked the car, I'm sure the screen it was left on is the screen it starts up on.

Yes as @Rolfe says, this apparently was a bug, although I liked it. I have this since they updated Foxy to R46 and I have adapted to the extra button press.

It is more annoying that the full heating screen comes up when you start the car or the AC and has to be manually dismissed. Would make more sense to go to the main screen.

@Pete1w, do you know what infotainment version you have. My Trophy is on 1300R33, the HVAC flashes up briefly on power up occasionally but then is replaced by the Home screen.

Have you left it on the climate screen when you locked the car, I'm sure the screen it was left on is the screen it starts up on.

My X Power does the same. Home screen is on, when I lock and leave the car. Climate Control screen comes on when I unlock the car and sit on the seat. It's always done that, presumed it was normal. Doesn't bother me at all. To be honest, I prefer that.

My car has always shown the climate control screen when I get in it. Always needs to be dismissed. I have always assumed it is in case people don't know how to get to it as they might be unfamiliar with the car and there aren't manual controls for all the settings. I'd prefer it didn't appear.

Wow, guys, mine is always on the main home screen when I exit the car, and it's always on the main home screen when I power up again, I find it strange that they're not all the same.

My Trophy 2022 (without driver awareness camera) always starts up on the HVAC screen, I can't remember if it did this before the software was updated to what I call the "my first HVAC screen" rather than the more graphical but admittedly harder to use original HVAC screen

@Ian Key, that could be the reason, I always leave mine on when l lock up the car, I'll give it a try and turn it off and see what the result is. I just thought it popped up as its probably the first thing you'll need when you get back in.

Yes, that's the same as mine, if the HVAC is off,
it doesn't pop up until it is turned on.

So it looks like we predictable behaviour for the Trophy and X power models, just need responders from SE's to confirm if that's the behaviour they see too.

I have never seen the HVAC screen pop up at startup (regardless of HVAC on/off). Always starts on Home Screen 1.

Mine always starts at the Home screen - and always has regardless of Info software version. I always leave HVAC activated, and since the last update I never need to adjust it. (Temp and fan speed can be easily adjusted anyway from the Home screen as there is an HVAC pane).

Ah, that would explain the difference - no HVAC pane on a Trophy by default, we get Weather I think instead.

That's why I mentioned it - I had a recollection that the Trophy screen layout was different.
