Mine went back and I,m not overly sure why, the car is not connected to my phone , the houses wifi or GPS so it might have an inbuilt calendar but thats a guess.

It's what used to be "the new big thing" for in-car audio systems back in the day, whereby the radio would tell you the name of the artist and track that was currently playing (assuming the station delivered RDS info).

S is an FM thing, not DAB.

The car can get the auto time update from the sim card network time, or from sim card GPRS data (like our phones do), from FM RDS radio, possibly from DAB radio data, and if it has an in built GPS system (the Trophy does) then from the GPS system.

I don't know which of those is used for the auto update but it had worked on my SE on sunday morning. I suspect from the inbuilt the sim card.

I was just talking about the car radio displaying the music being played - the DAB does it but the FM doesn't.

I think that unlikely, you'd have to change the time zone in the settings to the country you're travelling to I would think. I doubt the car is intelligent enough to use GPS data to control that aspect.

Not sure about that.
Using a PC analogy, it would depend on what you have defined as your locale.

No, it doesn’t! Would be nice but you have to do that manually (time zones are not governed by DST, that’s just an offset from the ‘winter time’ of whatever zone you’re in).
