EU Sat Nav maps

Just a quick one (being a bit lazy here)

We're off to Bruges in France in a few weeks time, and planning to use the built in sat nav. I know the "UK" map works OK, but after we hop off the Eurotunnel at the other end, will the French map automatically come up, or do I have to manually switch it on ?

That's a damn good question, have you tried entering a French destination and see what happens ?

Problem sorted !! I'm very impressed, just typed in the hotel name, and up the route popped. One less thing to worry about. Apparently there is EV charging in the car park too, so even better.

I travel to France quite regularly through the tunnel and the Satnav works well for me. its automatic, with no issues. What I will say is remember to switch to KM from miles, so the speed detection works, there are several speed camaras on the motorway north of calais

the EV charging at the UK side and French side of the tunnel is cheaper than the motorway stops, its about 50p a KW, but also very fast, the slow charging outside of the hotels is generally even cheaper, 0.30 euro per kw, so overnight charging was a lost cheaper.
