Stopped to charge at Birmingham airport on Sunday at the 60kW (allegedly) Gridserve chargers. Peaked at 28kW and had to pay £5 for the privilege. I had thought it was a car problem but ZapMap comments showed either broken or 22kW speeds reported.
Stay away ?

I have not had much joy with Gridserves. I think the older ones are worse.

I used the Gatwick one at the end of last month, all worked fine, went from 45 to 80% while we had a coffee prior to heading off abroad. That meant when we got back and picked the car up from the parking a week later we could drive home without a stop.

That was my plan ? . Only managed 75% should be enough to get me home though. Should have used the BP chargers. I'll know next time ?
