Gridserve high power chargers

I couldn't charge at a gridserve high power charger today on an M5 service station. I got the yellow triangle on the dash which suggests the charger wasn't compatible. I had the same issue at a Tesla charger and since realised these don't work on an MGZS EV. It worked on an ols style charger though. Are we not compatible with Gridserve high power?

Your car is compatible with ALL DC rapid chargers.

CCS is a standard.

If you are having problems report this to the dealer asap. If they are a reliable place, they should be able to fix it.

I've found the same recently. The new chargers at both Stafford northbound and Hilton park northbound fail every time. They even failed at knutsford this week.
The old ones work fine first time though.

Anyone else having this?

I wonder if these chargers work if you have the latest software update that include Tesla Charging. (Might be the same incompatibility, maybe more chargers have started using the "corners" of the CCS standard)

The car will only pull up to it max rate if the car starts from a low SOC and it is warm.
Check out what apps you can you as there maybe a discount.

2021 mg5 pre facelift

Charged our 23 MG4 (with rear wiper) at Stafford N twice without issue. In fact, it's one of the few that are just tap and go for us, with no f@rting around!
