Obviously it uses your driving efficiency but when from? Is it possible to start a new trip and reset the estimate if the driving efficiency will be a lot different e.g. motorway instead of city, or using a trailer?
There are 3 sets of driving data / efficiency / statistics, 1- From the start of your current journey, 2- From when you last charged, 3- The accumulated totals, and they can all be reset to zero.Obviously it uses your driving efficiency but when from? Is it possible to start a new trip and reset the estimate if the driving efficiency will be a lot different e.g. motorway instead of city, or using a trailer?
All that does is reset the GOM to near-enough WLTP values - it doesn't mean you'll actually get that range.Reset the Total trip counter

But that is the answer to OPs questionAll that does is reset the GOM to near-enough WLTP values - it doesn't mean you'll actually get that range.![]()
True ... I was merely highlighting what happens when you do it.But that is the answer to OPs question
Yes it does, taking into account ambient temperature and battery degradation. I've seen it happen in my own car ... after a period of heavy usage in winter the 100% range may have been 140 miles; resetting the Total trip raises it to about 190 miles.Does resetting total trip actually resets GOM too?
Yes it is possible to reset the range estimation or GOM (Guess O Meter).Obviously it uses your driving efficiency but when from? Is it possible to start a new trip and reset the estimate if the driving efficiency will be a lot different e.g. motorway instead of city, or using a trailer?
