Info Screen/sat nav night mode issues.

Any ideas why the sat nav screen in my wife's car keeps randomly changing to dark mode on start up randomly? Tried a long battery re-set etc.

Does it stay in dark mode or change when she drives off ?

Yes in-built one and stays in dark mode even during this very sunny weather.

Is there anything on top of the dashboard? Thats where the daylight sensor is.

No, nothing at all other than dust!

Mine stays at whatever mode it's last set to. Really wish it would change to night mode when it's dark.
