What are people getting quoted for MG4 insurance this year?

For my Trophy with two drivers, full NCD claims, 12000 miles per annum, Allianz are quoting...

I thought changing from an Ibiza to the MG4 was a rip off but this year it isn't too bad although still so compared with the £151 for the Ibiza. Am I getting ripped off or is it similar to other people's quotes?

I could take their lesser policy option but I think not...

Age of drivers, post code, use of car, where is it stored/kept in the day and overnight etc.?

All of these factors have a bearing on premiums. From what you've been quoted though, that seems a good price when compared to my PFL MG5.

As @Pebble says, there are a lot of factors which effect the insurance premium but that seems a fair price.

The premium of the Ibiza will always be lower as it's in insurance groups 2 to 19 and the MG4 is in groups 27 to 40 depending on the model.

All of these factors have a bearing on premiums. From what you've been quoted though, that seems a good price when compared to my PFL MG5.

Rural Scotland, car parked outside on property, one mid 50s another mid 40s. I am tempted to be lazy and skip my usual search but I haven't acted on the feeling yet as that sounds stupid as well as lazy.

I'll tell you in a week or 2 ... mine is due 01-June and I'm currently with the AA, so I should find out their renewal offer shortly whereupon I'll do a Meerkat or similar. I do have a claim to add though, after ERO got damaged during Storm Eowyn.

I'm being quoted around £340 ish, my renewal is £420, 12 years no claims, been driving 22 years, possibly something to do with my adaptations but I'm not sure. My fabia was around £215-£260 per year. Its due end of may so perhaps it'll come down around the magic 21 days.

Question is, is it worth paying a bit more to keep Excesses lower or taking the risk

Ask yourself how much damage could you comfortably pay for before going through the insurance?

Mine was £368 last year and it's dropped to £324 this year, LV.
Cheapest on Go compare was £321 so I just renewed. The LV quote on there was £332.

Wife has full no claims and her '72 plate Mazda CX-30 with me as a named driver costs in excess of £500 !! Both in our 50's

My Aviva renewal recently came through - UP from £570 last year to £663!
Just gone back to Hastings Direct Premier for £450 which is acceptable for me.
