Just want to tell you that I was told by MG services that although it is called " Battery Heating ". It actually does cooling as well as heating. So when it says "Ambient temperature low. Switch on Intelligent Battery Heating?" , the engine may be too hot and it wants to cool it. This would make sense why this sign comes on when it is 27 degrees outside. It may not be software glitch.

Your task, should you wish to take it Mr Hunt, is to ask your service centres whether this is true.

That would make some sense, I have had this message once but it was when the ambient was high.

Sounds like a poor translation - and I wonder if this would affect longevity of the battery? It might be that we should be leaving this option turned on!

Is there any further info (if a current driver can press the ? next to the wording on screen). Wondered if it gave any details as nothing in the manual. Thanks
